By accessing and using the Miniurl service, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms constitute an agreement between you and Miniurl and represent a policy of proper use of the service.
Important: For greater clarity and simplicity, the terms "Link", "Url", and "Short Link" will be considered equivalent and interchangeable and will be used interchangeably.
Definitions
- User: Any person who accesses or uses the Miniurl service.
- Visit: Any person who enters a short link generated by users.
- Shortened Link: A link generated by Miniurl that redirects to a longer original URL.
- Content: Any information, text, images, or other materials provided by the user through the Miniurl service.
Scope of Service
Miniurl offers a link shortening service that allows users to create short links from long URLs. The service may also include additional features, such as link statistics.
Terms of Use
- Users must use the Miniurl service legally and ethically.
- The service may not be used to link to content that violates copyright, intellectual property, privacy, or any applicable law.
- We reserve the right to remove or mark as malicious any shortened link that we consider inappropriate or that violates these terms and conditions.
Some types of content that are restricted/limited are:
- Scam or phishing
- Adult sites such as pornographic
- Illegal gambling
- Copyright infringement
- Multi-redirection
- Sites with excessive advertising
- Links that request to install any suspicious application
- Any other illegal activity

Fraudulent Clicks and Automated Use
The clicks on a link must come from real people visiting it. Clicks generated by bots, scripts, link checkers or other automated means, or made to inflate statistics, traffic or advertising revenue, are considered fraudulent. For example:
- Massively and sequentially going through the links of one or several accounts, from a single IP address or a server, to add clicks.
- Making repeated requests to one link, or to many, with no person behind them.
- Using several accounts, or asking other people or services to do so, to generate clicks that are not real.
Miniurl may detect these clicks and remove them at any time, even after they have been counted. Removing them corrects the click totals and the statistics of the affected links and accounts, and they will not be taken into account for any related calculation, such as advertising revenue. If an account takes part in this activity, or benefits from it, Miniurl may also suspend or delete it, as described in "Termination of Agreement".
Protection of the Service
To protect the service and all of its users, Miniurl may limit or block access, temporarily or permanently, to anyone showing automated behavior, such as an unusual number of requests in a short time from a single IP address. These measures may apply to the whole platform and not only to the link or account involved, and may be triggered automatically and without prior notice.
If you need to check or query links in an automated way, use the Miniurl API. If you believe your access was blocked by mistake, please contact us.
Registration and User Accounts
Registration is not required to use the Miniurl service, but additional features may be offered to registered users. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account and password.
Privacy and Security
Miniurl respects the privacy of its users and will not share their personal information with third parties without their consent. However, Miniurl may collect non-personal data to improve the service and for analytical purposes.
Intellectual Property Rights
Users retain intellectual property rights over the content they create and share through the Miniurl service. Miniurl does not claim any ownership rights over such content.
Limitation of Liability
Miniurl will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of the service.
Termination of Agreement
Miniurl may terminate or suspend your access to the service if you do not comply with the conditions described in this document.
Free Use and Paid Plans
Miniurl offers a free service for all users, as well as paid plans with more advanced features. Users can switch between the free plan and paid plans at any time.
Free use has certain restrictions that may be modified at any time in order to maintain stability and provide quality service for all users.
The limits of paid plans may also be modified. These changes will only affect new users.
Modifications to the Terms and Conditions
Miniurl reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will take effect immediately after publication.
