Is Miniurl free?
Yes. The free plan allows 30 links a month, with no credit card, and includes click analytics and destination editing.
Can I track link clicks with Miniurl?
Yes. Every link records its clicks by country, city, device, browser and source, with no monthly click cap on any plan (history does vary: 30 days on the free plan and 6 months on Pro). According to its pricing page, Rebrandly's free plan includes data for 100 clicks a month.
Which one should I choose, Rebrandly or Miniurl?
Rebrandly fits if you need a branding platform with several domains. Miniurl fits if you want a simple shortener with click tracking and more free links.
Does Miniurl support custom domains?
With the Pro plan you can use up to 5 custom domains. The free plan does not include custom domains; Rebrandly's includes one.
Does Miniurl have an API?
Yes, on the free plan too: up to 1,000 requests a day, and up to 10,000 a day on Pro. It is documented on the API page.
Can I change the destination of a link I already created?
Yes, from your dashboard and on the free plan too. On Rebrandly's pricing page the free plan lists no destination edits and the paid plans include a monthly number.
Can I move my links from Rebrandly?
There is no automatic importer: you create your links again in Miniurl. The links you already published with Rebrandly keep pointing where you set them up there.
