Share AliExpress links without tracking parameters

Remove parameters like spm, algo_pvid, and btsid from an AliExpress product link. Done in your browser, free, no account.

AliExpress link cleaner

Paste one or more, one per line. Works with product and store links on aliexpress.com. For short links (a.aliexpress.com, s.click.aliexpress.com), open them first and copy the full address.

Cleaning happens in your browser: the contents of your links are never sent to or stored by Miniurl.

How people use it

  • Recommending an AliExpress product in a group, a forum, or a chat with a shorter, tidier link.
  • Sharing a product link without leaving tracking codes from your browsing in it.
  • Putting an AliExpress link on a website, in an email, or in a document with a cleaner address.
  • Saving a list of products as clean links, one per line.
  • Cleaning several links at once before pasting them into a message.

Why use this cleaner

Removes “spm”, “algo_pvid”, “btsid”, and other tracking parameters in one click.
Private: cleaning happens in your browser, we never send or store your links.
Free, no account, no limit on links.
Accepts several links at once, one per line.
Keeps the rest of the link, so it opens the same product as the original.

What are “spm” and “algo_pvid” in an AliExpress link?

When you copy a product link from AliExpress, the address usually carries many parameters after the “?” sign: for example https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005000000000000.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.main.1.abc&algo_pvid=xxxx&algo_expid=xxxx. The product opens the same with or without them.

This cleaner removes the most common AliExpress tracking parameters. The list is based on the rules of the ClearURLs project, which includes “algo_pvid”, “algo_expid”, “btsid”, “ws_ab_test”, “gps-id”, “terminal_id”, “aff_request_id”, and the ones starting with “scm”, plus “spm”, a parameter widely used in AliExpress links. We don't have an official explanation from AliExpress of what each one does: going by the name, “algo_pvid” and “algo_expid” look like identifiers for the search view and experiment, but that's our reading, not something confirmed.

We also remove some short parameters from the ClearURLs list (like “af”, “cv”, “sk”, and “dp”). By name they look related to campaigns or affiliates, but that isn't an official explanation either. The rest of the link is kept as it is, so anything not on the list is left untouched.

Short links, like a.aliexpress.com or s.click.aliexpress.com, are redirects: they can't be cleaned here. Open them in the browser and copy the full address shown at the end. Removing the parameters doesn't change what AliExpress already knows about what you do on its site or app. With this cleaner you paste the link and get the same link without those parameters, ready to copy. Everything happens in your browser: the contents of your links are never sent to Miniurl.
