How does a WhatsApp QR code work?
A WhatsApp QR code is a code that, when scanned with a phone camera, opens a WhatsApp chat with your number. If you add a message, the chat opens with that text already typed and the person only has to tap “Send”.

The QR contains the short Miniurl link and not your number directly, so you can later change the number or the message of the link without reprinting the QR, and every scan is counted.
